I deleted some mailboxes from my CommuniGate mail service, but I'm still being billed for Postini filtering on those addresses! What gives?

While adding an address to CommuniGate will cause Postini to automatically create a corresponding address, removing an address from CommuniGate will not cause the corresponding address to be removed from Postini. There is simply no automatic function in the Postini service to accomplish this. This is important, because if you do not remember to delete the address from Postini when you delete it from CommuniGate, you will continue to be charged $1/month for the Postini address.

To delete an address from the Postini system, log in using your Postmaster account and go into the system administration console. Click on your organization name in the sidebar on the left. Then click on the "Users" link in the top navigation bar.

You'll see a field to enter the email address in question; do so, and hit the "Delete" button. You will then no longer be billed for this address in Postini.
