digital.forest mySQL accounts are now pre-configured to allow you to access your database with an external mySQL client program. If your account was not initially configured for external access, please contact us to update your account.
Now, you can connect to the mySQL server with an external client. You'll need to supply the following paramaters:
Host Name: |
The name of the database server your databases are stored on (listed as "Database Server" in your setup instructions). |
Username: Your account username | |
Password: | Your account password |
Port: | 3306 |
Database Name: | Name of your database (generally, your username). |
If you do not know the name of your database server, or if you do not remember your username and password, please contact us.
