Update: Our phones were back by 6 PM.

We are having some electrical work performed in our offices which may interrupt our telephone service for a brief time today after normal office hours, at 5:30 PM PST. Our telephone system could be unavailable for up to 30 minutes.

This will have no impact on normal network operations. Support will still be available via our Web Help Desk system.

The Seattle area experienced a major windstorm last night. This had no effect on our network operations, however, several of our staff are having difficulty reaching the office due to downed trees and power lines. As a result, support calls may take somewhat longer to be answered than is usual.

In observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday, digital.forest will be closed Thursday November 23rd and Friday November 24th. We will resume regular business hours at 8am PST Monday November 27th.

Technical Support staff will remain on-site 24 hours a day throughout the holiday period. Please be aware that we'll have limited staff coverage for telephone tech support during the next few days. Please note that our building will be locked throughout the weekend and clients requiring access to the datacenter to work on colocated servers will have to call or email first to be allowed access to the building. Additionally we will likely take advantage of the holiday lulls to perform maintenance and upgrades on core equipment. We will post notice of these beforehand. Finally, we are closing the phone support queue for a while on Wednesday, November 22nd in the afternoon for a Tech Department meeting. We appreciate your patience.

The fire alarm went off in our building and we are all out in the parking lot waiting for the Fire Department to sound the all clear (we are fairly certain it is a false alarm.) We have wireless access into our network obviously, but cannot answer our phones at the time being. We should be back in the building soon.

Update @ 8:22pm PDT: Phone system problems have been resolved.

We have been experiencing some phone-related issues tonight. Reports of "fast-busy" signals, or "all circuits are busy" messages when dialing our number. We're working with our telecom vendor to sort these out. We'll post an update when the issues have been resolved.

This has no impact on network operations and support is still available via the Web Help Desk system.

Update:

Our telephone service provider has resolved the phone network issue. All phone operations are back to normal.

We are experiencing an issue with our telephone circuit tonight. Calls to our number are getting an "all circuits are busy" message or a "fast busy" signal. We are working with our telephone service provider to correct it.

Our network systems are unaffected. Support is still avalable via Web Help Desk.

UPDATE: The phone issue has been resolved.

digital.forest's phone system is currently not functioning due to an apparent problem with the T1 line that connects the phone system to the outside world.

We have a support ticket open with the T1 vendor, and are hopeful that the issue will be resolved quickly.

In the meantime, support requests can be made through our trouble ticket system:
