banana.forest.net (Lasso 6)

tangerine.foerst.net (MySQL 4)
UPDATE: We are happy to announce that the software powering Alder's backend is once again operating without failures. The ability to open and close FileMaker 7 Server databases has once again been restored.
Alder is currently down because of a software failure in OpenBase, the database which powers Alder's backend. We are in communication with OpenBase about the software failure and hope to have Alder back online by the end of Wednesday.
The servers affected by this are jasmine, sage and spruce. This will not affect the databases stored on these servers, only the ability to open and close them. If you need a database opened or closed please give us a call and our technical support department will be more then happy to manually open and close them.
Please monitor this website for any updates,

Update:
We are currently experiencing issues with the Instant Web Publishing portion of FileMaker 7 Servers Sage.forest.net & Spruce.forest.net. Currently connecting via your FileMaker Pro client does not seem to show any problems. This in result of the upgrade. We estimate that we will have both servers fully up and running by the end of the morning.

On Wednesday, December 1st 2004 at 7:30 pm we will be upgrading FileMaker Server Advanced on sage.forest.net from version 7.0v1 to 7.0v2.
According to FileMaker, the update "includes changes to stability and performance and External Authentication security."
No updates or changes are required on the client side, but we always recommend customers using FileMaker Client to access their databases keep their software up to date -- see http://www.filemaker.com/support/updaters.html for the latest updates.
