date.forest.net is coming down immediately for emergency maintenance. Duration should be less than 10 minutes.

We will be taking date.forest.net offline for about 5-10 minuets this evening to install some additional hardware in order to increase performance and increase total server traffic capacity.

This downtime will occur on Wednesday July 16th, starting at 23:50 PDT and ending at about 00:00PDT.

We will be taking date.forest.net offline for about 30 minuets to an hour this weekend to apply several patches to the Lasso server in order to bring it up to version 8.5.5. This will alleviate some if not all of the performance degradation issues that clients on date.forest.net have been experiencing over the past few weeks. We have beta tested this update and found that it will not adversely effect the sites on this server.

This downtime will occur on Sunday July 13th, just after midnight Pacific Daylight Time and will last until around 1:00 AM.

We will be taking the following servers offline for about 10-15 minuets each tonight (Tuesday July 1st, 2008) between the hours of 11:00 and 00:00 to apply an urgent security patch released yesterday for these servers.

Update: The date for these update has been changed to July 2nd, 2008 during the same timeframe.

We will be disabling the FTP server on date.forest.net for about 2-3 (11:30 - (13:30-14:30) PDT) hours in order to perform an active backup of the server. Once the backup is complete the FTP server will be turned back on.

We're currently experiencing intermittent outages on our date.forest.net lasso server and are working to correct them, we will update this blog entry when we have further news.

On Friday (02/17/2006) we will be applying minor updates to the operating system on the machines below in order for our customers to receive the best possible service. The downtime will be approximately 15-20 minutes per machine, during this scheduled maintenance the service on the machine can be unstable and/or not available at all.

Lasso issues on Date should now be resolved.

Date received a major hardware upgrade last night. Unfortunately during the upgrade process, some user's Lasso configuration settings got corrupted.
We are in the process of recovering the Lasso settings for the effected sites. We have no ETA at this time, but are working to restore these sites to normal operation as quickly as possible.

We will be taking Date offline briefly for emergency maintenance. The downtime should not exceed 10-15 minutes.

We are experiencing some issues with Lasso Professional middleware on the server "date.forest.net". Please be patient while this is addressed. We should have it fully functional by the end of business today.

Date is getting a lasso upgrade from 8.0.3 to 8.0.4 to alleviate a bug. Downtime should be minimal.
