The Seattle area woke up to several inches of snow Sunday morning, with more forecast. At the moment I am trying to ascertain if the weekend staff have made it to the office or not. I suspect not given the current road conditions. This should have no serious affects on our operations. The sole exception being a server that requires some human interaction. Most things can be handled remotely, but on occasion situations require face-to-monitor time in the datacenter. If you send an emergency email, please be patient with us if it involves direct interaction with the server, as travel time to the datacenter will be longer than usual.
If history is a guide, things could warm up and our usual rains return at any moment, so this is unlikely to be a long-term issue.
Thanks for your patience.
Chuck Goolsbee, VP, Technical Operations.
