We experienced a power event this morning at 9:24 AM PDT, possibly related to a lightning strike in the area. During the event our emergency backup power system deployed but was damaged. Our UPS took some sort of surge or spike that damaged the unit. Some servers switched off or lost power. Power was fully restored within one second.

Our UPS vendor (APC) is en route to assess the damage and repair. Our generator is running and will remain our primary power source until the UPS is confirmed to be operational again.
